Music @ Sowilo
Sowilo is fortunate to have Mr. Graham Greene as the music teacher.
Graham is an independent musician, composer, and recording artist with an impressive catalogue of albums under his belt and was awarded the 2008 Star Music Award (USA) for Best Rock Instrumental Artist.
He delivers the music program giving students access to instruments, equipment and instruction that enables them to explore their talents and creativity in a fun, relaxed environment. Group and individual projects are encouraged, as is the sharing of new information and experiences within the class.
The cooperative nature of music helps to nurture social skills, and with personal improvement also being an important factor, students learn how individual development benefits the group. In addition, it is personally empowering to develop a skill or talent that not everyone has, and that is personal, to keep or to share. That is the gift of music.
